AWS Tech Allliance

CMKL University is proud to be among Thailand’s leading academic institutions partnering with Amazon Web Services (AWS) in the newly launched AWS Skills to Jobs Tech Alliance Thailand. This national initiative, supported by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI) and key government and industry stakeholders, aims to close the technology skills gap by aligning education with real-world industry needs. The program provides students with access to industry-validated curriculum and hands-on learning experiences in areas such as software engineering, AI, and cloud computing—equipping graduates for high-demand roles in Thailand’s rapidly evolving digital economy.

Through this alliance, CMKL University will expand its use of AWS Academy resources, collaborate with leading tech employers, and engage students in job readiness activities such as tech talks, hackathons, and mentorship programs. This effort complements CMKL’s mission to bridge the gap between academic excellence and industry relevance, strengthening the talent pipeline and supporting Thailand’s position as a regional leader in digital innovation.

CMKL University is proud to be at the forefront of Thailand’s AI revolution as a key member of the national consortium of universities collaborating with NVIDIA under the AI Nations initiative. As part of this historic agreement—marking Thailand as the first country in Southeast Asia to join the initiative—CMKL has deployed an NVIDIA DGX POD AI infrastructure that will serve as the central node of the country’s AI research network. With over 30 petaflops of AI computing power and advanced interconnectivity, the platform is designed to support breakthrough research in domains such as healthcare, agriculture, and smart cities, while enabling seamless collaboration and data sharing among institutions across Thailand. This partnership underscores CMKL’s mission to bridge world-class technology with local context and drive impactful innovations through research and education.

Backed by the Office of National Higher Education Science Research and Innovation Policy Council (NXPO), and supported by PMU-C, CMKL’s cutting-edge AI infrastructure will provide researchers and students with unparalleled access to accelerated computing capabilities—from cloud to edge. Leveraging tools such as PyTorch, Kaldi, and NVIDIA Metropolis, the system is already powering initiatives including voice recognition, video analytics, and environmental monitoring.
